On May 26, four students attended the Entrepreneurship Gala at the school board, and were recognized for their project “Halloween Fun for Education”. The project was headed up by M. Seguin, who first built a Haunted House in the library in 2013. This year, in October, 2014, with help from many students, the project was bigger and scarier.
While the project was a lot of fun for the organizers and the visitors, it also raised funds for “Books for Burundi”, an initiative started three years ago to support the staff and students of our sister school École Primaire Rwoga-Westwood with French and English books.
Well done, students. I am extremely proud of you, and hope you will take your entrepreneurial spirit to CEGEP with you…
